Could we be the only ones or a single lost cause?

We look into space, seeking for a light
Lost in the darkness, lost in the night,
useless and useless.
Is loneliness our ultimate state?
or is there a hope? Or a sign?

Are we an oxymoron, a masochistic performance
with the merciless and pitiless disposition of an evil god?

Our days are as a last breath in a dying sonnet.
an abundance of entwined and obscure proverbs.

We are the dust in the wind, ephemeral and weak.
doomed to the empty solitude.
