Sacred Leather hail from Indianapolis and have a mission to keep the spirit of classic heavy metal alive in the Midwest. In a recent interview they stated that they felt “it was our Metal Duty, to … spread the gospel of steel to the Midwest.”
Their name, according to the same interview, came from a song title originally, and was adopted because it felt too good to pass up.
